DCUM is not filled with the best and the brightest, Jeff.  [b]Poster [/b]think they're intelligent, but until they start to examine gray territory, critical thinking is not a skill they possess.  And with the educational system deteriorating, it will only get worse.

In case you can't figure out why, it's because I wrote this in regard to Republicans' use of the filibuster and the Democrats' inability to invoke cloture:

"Because one of the votes upon which the Democrats relied was Joe Lieberman, they were always held hostage by him. He had famously not supported Obama during the 2008 election and appears to have enjoyed being an obstacle to the President."

Here is an example of Lieberman doing exactly what I say:

Can anybody explain how what I wrote was anti-Semitic? Has it really come to the point that you cannot even state a true fact involving a Jew without being called anti-Semitic?  Is there a way I could have correctly explained the situation in the Senate without being anti-Semitic given this definition of anti-Semitism? I am really beside myself. I am used to be called an anti-Semite for supporting the rights of Palestinians or defending Lebanese. I realize that you cannot discuss the Middle East in the US without risking being compared to Hitler. That goes with the territory. But, all I am doing is describing a situation in American politics.

Sorry for this rant, but this is getting ridiculous.
