AoPS has classes for the AMCs and specific classes for the final 5 questions, the hardest ones on each exam. But you don’t start preparing 6 weeks before the exam. Normally the kids taking these exams are strong math students and have been participating in math competitions for a few years. Scoring well on the AMC 10/12 and the AIME and the Junior Math Olympics or US Math Olympics are listed on college applications and can be very meaningful. [/quote]
