IMX is just about getting young kids to try all the events of longer to mid-distance. One you get to high school kids will start specializing in events and at the college level even less specialization. IMX sometimes makes a kid realize that they really are not a free style backstroke kid, but distance free and IM. Or a distance swimmer. The number of kids that because they like a certain stroke a lot, think that is their stroke. Sometimes they are quite good at a stroke that they did not consider.[/quote]
