I think a sprint IMX could work. IMX is all about being extreme. Couldn’t we have an extreme sprinting meet to go with our extreme distance meet? Double the extreme. IMX sprint score to go along with our traditional IMX score. Will certainly increase kids college exposure.

Not really. There are sprint meets out there.

IMX is just about getting young kids to try all the events of longer to mid-distance. One you get to high school kids will start specializing in events and at the college level even less specialization.

IMX sometimes makes a kid realize that they really are not a free style backstroke kid, but distance free and IM. Or a distance swimmer.

The number of kids that because they like a certain stroke a lot, think that is their stroke. Sometimes they are quite good at a stroke that they did not consider.

Does anyone think there should be a sprint version of IMX? Sounds like it would be fun
