While his campaign itself didn't focus on his race the rest of the country did. In an honest discussion you can't talk about his election without race playing a role. I have said from his first campaign, that Obama faced a much harder time as our president, not because of his race but because those that supported him treated him almost like a god. He had a long way to fall if he couldn't live up to what people thought of him. [/quote]
