I BF my first child until he was 2.5 and the second self-weaned at 3.5.  I generally didn't BF publicly after e.g. about 12-14 mos with either of them, but if I had, yes, I would have BF "as in literally by the breast."   :roll:  [u]Literally[/u].   [/quote]

Feeding a 3 year old, like a baby, from a breast [b]or[/b] bottle is pretty odd in American culture, though you'll find die-hard defenders on DCUM, most the rest of us roll our eyes behind their backs.  :roll:
