I don't disagree that whoever is cooking should be the one to decide though.[/quote] +1 We eat dinner around 5:30-5:45 PM because that's when everyone is hungry and when people get home from sports practice. Put out crudités or a quick salad for people to eat while dinner is put together if you need more time. Light snack of crudités and something else right after school for whoever is home. No one would eat dinner if they had two snacks beforehand. Dinner food is generally healthier than snack food so I don't want them filling up on goldfish.[/quote]
