The bill reduces developers’ taxes based on how much money the county gets from the state for school construction and no other factor. The connection between state aid for schools and the amount of the tax break for developers couldn’t be any clearer. It’s in the plain text of the bill. If you don’t like it take it up with the people who wrote the bill or its only sponsor, council president Andrew Friedson. [/quote]
