My guess:  Devin watched the show where Jenn said she loved Marcus, while at the same time Jenn was not willing to say she loved Devin.  Devin, understandably, couldn't square that and couldn't get over it.  He probably felt like he was Jenn's 2nd choice.  I've heard it said that "winning" on this show is really, really hard on the "winner" because they have to watch their fiance gush about and kiss all these other people (even though it happened in the past), and they can't say anything about it while it's happening.  The lead gets to do all kinds of press tours, but the winner has to stay at home and be quiet.

I never got the feeling that Jenn was emotionally mature enough to be ready for marriage.  She seems to still be dealing with Daddy issues and figuring out who she is.  She is the girl who is a lot of fun to hang out with, but she hasn't developed the self-awareness and acceptance of self to confidently stand in her power.  That was REALLY obvious when she kept giving Sam M another chance and another chance and another chance to explain himself.  If she was solid in herself, she would have given him ONE chance to explain himself and then called it what it was (BS).  But, she wanted him to like her, and she couldn't pull that out of him.  In about 4-5 years, she'll be ready.  Too young to be the lead.[/quote]
