I also think that the show showing Jenn saying she was in love with Marcus weeks before saying she loved Devin just solidified his fears of being 2nd or "safe" choice. I like Devin and don't blame him. He was so gracious not to put it back on her, but it was obvious. He deserves someone who picks him first

I don’t think Devin did anything wrong. Jenn being emotional doesn’t mean anything about him. Almost all these reality tv showmances end shortly after the filming ends.

She kept saying she didn’t know how to be in a healthy relationship and Devin wasn’t her number 1 or even number 2. He was just the guy still there at the end. I am sure he sensed she wasn’t that into him. I know they like a proposal at the end but I think she got caught up in the process / show….more than being int Devin.

Let’s watch your failed proposal after you’ve been bawling for 30 minutes… reality tv is truly sick. Devin is repulsive, and unfortunately everyone but Jenn realized it.

I feel like we’re not getting the whole story. He looked truly confused about a few things she said. And did you pick up on him saying he didn’t fall out of love with her, but he couldn’t live up to who she needed him to be? I’m guessing they were both different off camera, his insecurities popped out and she fell into old habits of chasing someone pulling away.

Her options were mediocre at best. She is definitely not ready for marriage, but Devin was gross from the start. Marcus has many sexual assault accusations surfacing the interne, and Sam M was awful. The only obvious and decent choice was Jonathan, but he’s way too mature for her.

I think the crop of guys was not great, and she has bad taste in men. Bad combo.

Ok, don't blame me if you open this thread and don't actually want to know who "wins!"

Devin has long been said to be the winner... but the latest from Reality Steve is that Devin broke up with Jenn in the past few weeks.

My guess: Devin watched the show where Jenn said she loved Marcus, while at the same time Jenn was not willing to say she loved Devin. Devin, understandably, couldn't square that and couldn't get over it. He probably felt like he was Jenn's 2nd choice. I've heard it said that "winning" on this show is really, really hard on the "winner" because they have to watch their fiance gush about and kiss all these other people (even though it happened in the past), and they can't say anything about it while it's happening. The lead gets to do all kinds of press tours, but the winner has to stay at home and be quiet.

I never got the feeling that Jenn was emotionally mature enough to be ready for marriage. She seems to still be dealing with Daddy issues and figuring out who she is. She is the girl who is a lot of fun to hang out with, but she hasn't developed the self-awareness and acceptance of self to confidently stand in her power. That was REALLY obvious when she kept giving Sam M another chance and another chance and another chance to explain himself. If she was solid in herself, she would have given him ONE chance to explain himself and then called it what it was (BS). But, she wanted him to like her, and she couldn't pull that out of him. In about 4-5 years, she'll be ready. Too young to be the lead.
