I wonder if you are using SN sib as a backup excuse here. I have a SN child and an NT child and I know that it can be harmful for the NT child to be told he can't do something other kids get to do because of his SN sib. if it really is an issue (and I think the reaction you are getting is in part because ALL halloween masks van be scary, so why pick out this one?) come up with a work around. Tell him he has to put it on when he leaves the house. Or give the sib the mask to play with so she or he can see its harmless.[/quote]
