Just moved from there to MoCo and am reeling at all the county bureaucracy and my sense that as a parent I'm not very relevant to my child's school. Despite being as involved as they'll allow me to be. There seems to be a lot less information coming from my children's teachers to home than we ever experienced in New England. And again, so many niggling rules about everything. And seemingly little time for lots of things I consider important for kids - like recess, rest and snack for K kids, (yes, we had that in New England!) science, field trips, so forth,.[/quote]
