When your denominator is small it is very easy to make large %age changes.  If I have 2 and now have 4, OMG 100% change!!! If I have a million and now have 1.25 million, it is only a 25% change even though it might be infinitely harder to grow something by 250,000 vs just by 2.

Look at the shooting percentages by both France and US today in the women's game and compare to the men. The men just have way more skill at shooting.  The game today was trash and unwatchable basketball. Horrible shooting. Horrible passing. Horrible fundamentals. No dunking. [/quote]
