Looking for a parent coordinator in MD with at least four years experience who is sharp, empathetic and good… so far I have found a self righteous know it all and several that work very part time who are inexperienced. I would prefer someone with a legal background. Any suggestions? Thanks!
What is a parent coordinator? Like a nanny? Or something for school or a sports team?
A parent coordinator is a professional, usually either a lawyer or a mental health clinician, who helps separated or divorced parents work out issues related to their children.
When a parent coordinator is court-ordered, as in OP’s case, they actually have some degree of delegated authority from the court. It’s different in different states and orders, but the PC can sometimes dictate what you have to do.
