It will tell you what the balance has been in last 5+ years. See the trends. For ex: if largely STEM/Eng school, odds are it's 70/30 M/F. A few get closer to 60/40 but not many get any closer than that. Not the schools fault. More M want to major in that than women. But you can search for one that is making a concerted effort to balance best they can. Similarly, for a largely LA school where STEM is not an intensive focus, it will most likely trend Female. But you can find ones that are working hard to balance if that matters to you [/quote]
