[/quote] +1 Elite swimmers do summer season for fun, but if there is a competitive meet where they can get event times they need, they won't hesitate to skip an A meet - no matter how much the team needs the points they would accrue. As for vacations, we've had a few kids take a weekend trip and miss a single A meet, but for the most part they don't.[/quote]
