So, a lower overall IQ would need substantially below grade reading scores for MCPS to provide services. That said, I'd address this issue now. Having done a lot of research into literacy programs and the evidence (or lack thereof) for them related to my ES kid's issues with reading, look for a psychologist or SLP or educator who specializes in reading. Beth Cianguilli at Stepping Stones Therapy is one I know of, there may be others. Good luck![/quote]
