I only had 1 egg retrieval, but I also had almost 20 eggs and was dangerously close to OHSS. I felt tender and sore all over like I had been in a car accident for 4-5 days.
Yeah I felt like I was hit in the stomach with a baseball bat and I had high estrogen. Don't remember the #. Went in to get checked out and was told it was fine. That RE went on to screw me over (long story) and I do not trust his medical opinion, but the ultrasound tech said I did not have alot of fluid. Anyways, OP: Unexplained shoulder pain that does not change when you move your neck, shoulder, or arm or that occurs with symptoms elsewhere in your body (such as in your abdomen or chest) may be referred shoulder pain. Referred pain means that a problem exists somewhere else in the body other than where you feel the pain. Causes of referred shoulder pain may include: Pelvic problems, such as a ruptured ovarian cyst.
I’m OP. When I was 23 I lost my other ovary and tube due to a 10cm cyst and it was torsion. My fallopian tube twisted around my ovary and it was the worst pain of my whole life. Had laparoscopy to remove it. So now I only have one ovary and tube, that’s why I am doing egg freezing. I’ve been getting better on the daily. My first ER was not like this though. I hope I feel better tomorrow. Prayers for me. Please.
Curious what was different between this and the last ER. Best wishes and hopefully your eggs remain an insurance policy that you never need to use!
