My estrogen level was 4199 and I had 38 eggs retrieved. If I remember correctly, my RE put me on Letrozole and Cabergoline after my egg retrieval to prevent OHSS, but I still felt absolutely dreadful for some time.

I’m OP. When I was 23 I lost my other ovary and tube due to a 10cm cyst and it was torsion. My fallopian tube twisted around my ovary and it was the worst pain of my whole life. Had laparoscopy to remove it. So now I only have one ovary and tube, that’s why I am doing egg freezing. I’ve been getting better on the daily. My first ER was not like this though. I hope I feel better tomorrow.

Curious what was different between this and the last ER.

Yes. If the RE/nurse isn't taking it seriously, go to your PCP or even the ER.

I basically felt fine after mine. Mild soreness in the abdomen but really pretty minimal. Agree with a PP that it's a lot of hormones/meds, anaesthesia - you should get it checked out.


ER is a better choice, PCP will not know what to do with you.

I mean I feel mostly fine minus the gassiness in my stomach plus a little bit of pain in my stomach when I walk. I’m hoping by tomorrow I feel better. Nurse said I should be feeling a little better each day and then by my period the period will help with the symptoms .

I’m 29. Amh 1.96, only one tube and ovary. I lost my other side to a 10cm cyst x
So I did my first egg retrieval a month ago. 11 retrieved 7 mature. This time I had my retrieval on Monday. 17 retrieved and 9 mature.

Felt awful afterwards. Was so much pain in my shoulders and abdomen. It’s gone down a lot but I still feel it. Mg doctor says I’m not at risk for OHSS. Had Lupron trigger and estrogen was 2900.

Anyone else ?
I’m mostly having pain in my stomach area. Wondering if this is normal or not. No not my uterus. Mg stomach.
