We will never hear more or real details because MCPS does not share the candidates with the stakeholders. They use the excuse that it would narrow the choices because candidates don’t want their current districts to know of their interest. However, this creates a completely secret process with no input from the people this hire will directly affect. Many other districts invite stakeholders to meet the candidates to collect their input. Unfortunately, the final decision on superintendent will be made solely by this lame BOE.[/quote]
