I know this is a year old but on the chance this poster sees this, what college was it that offered a language waiver? We’re starting to look at schools for DC, who has a FL waiver in HS for dyslexia, and it seems like most colleges only allow students to swap ASL for the FL requirement rather than fully waiving it. We’re keeping options open, but would love to know of schools that actually waive the whole requirement.

I'm a DP. Our DC had dyslexia and had the option of taking three courses as replacements for the language requirement. One of them was history of the Roman Empire, or similar. You could inquire whether your school offers similar substitutions.  [/quote]
