Agreed it is about 350 all in, but can fluctuate based on YOE. Buddy of mine started at 380K (with 9YOE) and another around 330 (6 YOE) (this was during the height of hiring in 2022). Because comp in years 3 and 4 (and afterwards) is equity heavy, it is boom or bust. Lately due to stock appreciation, buddy who had the 380k offer is around 540k this year.

If you are talking about the stock appreciation, I agree, but it happened. In the next level up, the comp ranges from 440-600s, but again it is boom or bust due to equity.

If you are talking about WLB, there are a lot of different legal teams with different responsibilities that may not require insane hours. But also agree this is anecdotal.[/quote]
