I'm wondering if there are any semester or year-long programs for high school students -- prior to high school graduation, and before turning 16 -- that are interesting or worthwhile experiences that could also have the effect of putting the brakes on a very accelerated HS curriculum. (E.g. finished first college writing classes at 14, ready for multivariable calculus at 15.)

looking for in-person programs, travel could be ok, would likely need (and qualify for) significant financial aid to make almost anything work

I guess ideal would be something that is accredited as a HS program. Would actually prefer something where she didn't earn college credits because she does not want to have to apply as a transfer student before she has her driver's license. :)
