If it is under the deductible, we don't worry about it, but if we find out you broke something, and you don't tell us, we charge you a much higher sum. One time someone broke something they replaced it with something much nicer, which was appreciated, but not necessary. It was the effort and ability to feel remorse that we appreciated.
