Dr Blakemore really cares and somehow treats her patients like they are the only one when she is incredibly busy. You would never know it.

Unlike some other Drs at NYU she tries to be the one to see you as much as possible. For us, morning monitoring she always let us know which location she would be at or if she wasn't in that day and who we would be seeing instead. She was able to be at each one of our eff retrievals (the timing is tricky part of this was happenstance that we loved and appreciated) and we were able to time my transfer with her. She also calls with big updates vs a nurse. And it doesn't matter if it's a holiday or weekend and she's not even on call. Besides being brilliant and a data nerd she is the kindest Dr and has the best bedside manner. She's always available to answer questions or for reassurance if needed.

Trust her. She absolutely knows what she's doing and is up to date on the latest research. We can't wait to bring our baby in to meet her and go back for another transfer.
