New Hope. Did acupuncture in conjunction through the process. Last embryo worked.

I'm the PP who is at CCRM NOVA. We've changed my retrieval and transfer protocol each time. If you're at a good clinic, egg retrieval protocols are very personalized. Whether you prime or don't prime, how long you prime, what you use to prime, the dosages of the meds, which meds you use, how you trigger, etc., are all going to vary. Just as an example, the protocol you pasted in from CCRM Lonetree above is not standard and is not at all similar to what I did.

Below is a protocol I got from someone who got treatment at CCRM lone tree last year.
Protocol 3 (Testosterone- Antagonist):
Cycle day 1: start testosterone (1.0ml) to upper arm twice daily
Cycle day 14: repeat CBC, CMP, testosterone levels
Day 10 after LH surge, Estrace 2mg twice daily
Day 11 after LH surge, begin Cetrotide/ganirelix, Estrace 2mg twice daily
Day 12 after LH surge, begin Cetrotide/ganirelix, Estrace 2mg twice daily
Day 13 after LH surge, begin Cetrotide/ganirelix, Estrace 2mg twice daily, last dose of testosterone gel
Cycle day 1: last Estrace 2mg twice daily
Cycle day 3: AM: menopur 2 vials, PM: 225 Gonal-F +Dex + Omnitrope 0.35ml
AM: menopur 2 vials, PM: 225 Gonal-F +Dex + Omnitrope 0.35ml
AM: menopur 2 vials, PM:150 Gonal-F +Dex + Omnitrope 0.35ml
AM: menopur 2 vials, PM: 150 Gonal-F +Dex + Omnitrope 0.35ml

Then ganirelix/ cetrotide

NYU!! We also saw Dr Blakemore and she gave us our baby at 38. She's the most incredible person/Dr we've ever met and we feel so incredibly lucky that we were able to do this with her.

I can share more but everything - the lab, the nurses, morning monitoring everything was seemless and everyone we encountered was so supportive of us.

Dr Blakemore really cares and somehow treats her patients like they are the only one when she is incredibly busy. You would never know it.

Unlike some other Drs at NYU she tries to be the one to see you as much as possible. For us, morning monitoring she always let us know which location she would be at or if she wasn't in that day and who we would be seeing instead. She was able to be at each one of our eff retrievals (the timing is tricky part of this was happenstance that we loved and appreciated) and we were able to time my transfer with her. She also calls with big updates vs a nurse. And it doesn't matter if it's a holiday or weekend and she's not even on call. Besides being brilliant and a data nerd she is the kindest Dr and has the best bedside manner. She's always available to answer questions or for reassurance if needed.

Trust her. She absolutely knows what she's doing and is up to date on the latest research. We can't wait to bring our baby in to meet her and go back for another transfer.

I do think the CCRM NOVA stats aren't great, but they also take on a lot of the more challenging cases and become the second stop to women who have had failure elsewhere. I can't speak to CCRM Lone Tree vs. NYU Langone, but I personally find IVF hard enough without adding in having to travel out of state to a clinic.

Hi, ladies:
I would like to hear your thoughts on the clinic choice for my next IVF. I just did one IVF with Janelle Luk at Generation Next in NYC, which was a complete failure. Out of 13 eggs retrieved, only 3 got fertilized. Yeah. We did receive ICSI at her lab. No viable embryo after PGTA. Dr Luk didn't do any follow-up after egg retrieval, knowing that I would transfer anyway after this round.
My question is whether I should go to CCRM lone tree in Colorado or pick NYU Langone. I scheduled to see Dr Jennifer Blakemore at NYU Langone in April and I have also consulted Dr Jason Franasiak at RMA New Jersy. From SART, these two clinics seem to be at the similar levels of IVF treatments.
CCRM lone tree has the best statistics for 42+ women, but I didn't hear anybody talking about their personal experience there. I also checked out the local CCRM branch in Vienna, Dr Ann Martini said that they would do the same things as CCRM lone tree and has the same lab protocol (though I couldn't see that from their statistics in 2019 on SART).
So where to go? CCRM lone tree or NYU Langone for Dr Blakemore for a woman with more advanced age (42+)? Could anybody share your experiences with CCRM lone tree, NYU langone or CCRM in Vienna?
