For the first day of kindergarten at our school, you can walk into the all purpose room where the kids line up. Then parents can stay for coffee in the teachers lounge. But you don't get to go to your kid's room. Another thing that isn't permitted at our school is early dismissal within the last fifteen minutes of the school day. Same issue - not wanting people in the school that close to dismissal for safety reasons.[/quote]
