I second the recommendation to work through your real estate agent. Ours had a fabulous contractor who was super affordable. And the realtor managed it all.
This is what I'm doing right now. Handyman, packing, painting, moving, removing everything I don't want, either to donate or otherwise get rid of, and then a deep clean, all done by people that the realtor has worked with for years/decades. I'll be far away by the time the house actually hits the market. I've done some packing myself, but otherwise all I've been doing is organizing for packing. I'm sure it'll cost probably $20-25k all told, but my stress level is about 1/10th what it would be otherwise. (Helps that I'm moving to a house I already own, so I don't have to worry about timing of getting into a new place) I'm making a hefty profit, so hefty profit minus $25k is worth it.
