It is a hobby, and I save seeds/tubers every year, so after the initial investment, the amount of $$ it costs me is minimal.

I also grow lots of tomatoes and hand them out/stick a free sign in my front yard with extras. I have gardening friends that I supply with starts in the spring as well.
