[/quote] I carried a diaper bag til my kid was 3, and only stopped carrying it then because I bought a cool Sherpani backpack instead, wanting my hands free. Even after the diapers are gone, you still need extra clothes, food, etc. If a bag makes you happy, then do it - you'll get plenty of use out of it. I love my backpack, though - it's a huge improvement over the cross body I had before because I can pick up my toddler, shop, do whatever I need to. I get compliments on it, too.[/quote]
