You dont really want to wait, because it can become quite painful and you dont want emergency WT removal while at college. It really takes 7-10 days to recover from it. And even if very careful, your kid can get a pocket/infection 7-8 days in. My one teen had that happen about 7-8 days in---woke up in the morning and half their face was double in size. It was quite scary and painful. So you don't want them doing this while at college[/quote]
