Recently, I've seen these commits on social media:

McLean / VA Union -- Class of 2025 -- commits to UCLA, Florida State, Virginia 
TSJ FC Virginia -- Class of 2025 -- commits to UGA, Pittsburgh, Penn State, Syracuse 
Arlington -- Class of 2024 -- Bowdoin, Franklin & Marshall -- Class of 2025 -- Vanderbilt

Since the Ivies don't commit early, the other way to find out what level a kid needs to play at is to go onto an Ivy League school's roster and see where the student-athlete played; then check if it was an ECNL or GA team. On the IVY team rosters info is also included about the player's accomplishments, including whether they made ECNL All Conference Team, etc.

VA Union and TSJ FC Virginia seem to have the best track records of college placements for soccer in northern Virginia (a lot of this is about coach connections and longevity). With a little sleuthing between Ivy team rosters and Soccerwire you can find stuff like this:

Yale -- one McLean/VA Union ECNL player, one Maryland United player 
Columbia -- two McLean/VA Union ECNL players 
Princeton -- one Bethesda ECNL player, one BRYC ECNL player (had one VA Union player last year who was a senior and graduated from Princeton)
Penn -- two TSJ FC Virginia
Brown -- one McLean/VA Union player 
Cornell -- one Richmond United, two Maryland United players 
Dartmouth -- one Maryland United player, one TSJ Virginia player, three McLean/VA Union players

Harvard's women's soccer team is full of international players. Doesn't look like anyone is from the DMV.
