How do you know what is classified as bullying? Does your child tell you something? I have a upcoming kindergarten and would like to know the signs
Much of what parents of young kids call "bullying" is little ones trying to figure out how to interact with one another. It can be corrected quite easily with adult guidance. It is a developmental phase. Actual bullying (mean behavior and isolating others for the fun of it, and taking joy in other's suffering) starts in later elementary school and can go into the teen years. It is very different from preschoolers and 1st graders trying to figure out how to be kind and navigate social situations.
