Several similar threads: Ozempic for nominal weight loss https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1131862.page "I just recently saw a post by my dermatologist saying they now consult on this. I am 5’4 and weigh 145. That puts me on the very high range of normal BMI, but not overweight. I really should be closer to 130 based on my stature etc. Is this the quick fix? Are people using these meds in my case?" Ozempic or the like for cosmetic purposes https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1171737.page I know I will get flamed for this, but curious if people have used these drugs just to lose a few pounds - like just 5-10 lbs for cosmetic purposes rather than actually meeting overweight/obesity criteria. I have a couple of work acquaintances that are I never thought of as overweight who are supposedly doing this. I've tried diet and exercise and am pretty darn healthy in my habits but can't seem to get those last few pounds off. I'm sure being perimenopausal doesn't help. Anyway, just pondering over here.
