OP, my best advice is lower your expectations and make most of these decisions based on what you discover about your baby’s preferences and needs. Yes, newborns have strong preferences. I planned to never ever use a Snoo or cosleep. I ended up doing both. I had all these plans but I got a baby who was the absolute worst sleeper on earth and rejected all my plans. As for the Snoo, try what makes sense to you then adjust based on whether it works for your baby. Mine hated the highest two levels and couldn’t sleep in it with her arms it. [/quote]
