A dog that sheds more spread more of that dander around, but lower shedding dogs also have dander and will trigger allergies so beware and don't believe any claims to the contrary as they are FALSE. If you want a dog with allergic kids, you will have to manage the dander - no dog in the bedroom/on the bed, frequent vacuuming with HEPA filter, air filter units in the house, wash hands immediately after petting dog, etc.[/quote]
