Have not done this but my kid's counselor advised against this until after sophomore year. Has she taken health? Thats a good class to get out of way in the summer online through MCPS, especially now that they have to take 2 semesters.
DD has done both Health classes over the summer. It was a lot of busy work but wasn't anything difficult. The TE credit will likely be CMSC 110 (Computer Concepts), and it frees her up to take another year of band, or AP Econ. She will be entering 11th grade after this summer. So just curious how MC's MCSC compares in quality and rigor to classes offered at the local high school. Was there a reason why the counselor had advised to wait until after sophomore year?
