We are at 2nd and generally agree with the above but offer one clarification on the chromebook policy.  I believe the schools have the same policy (the policy is different at 2nd than it was previously).  The current policy at 2nd is that 5/6 do not take home a chromebook and have limited laptop use in school.  Starting in 7, kids will be assigned a chromebook. [/quote]

Oh, I didn't realize that 2nd Street also adopted this policy. I'm really loving it, though my kid would have preferred to type out their homework assignments, versus handwriting. :)
