Bottom line: I've been following the new middle school process somewhat closely as a BCC-district parent, and there has been no indication to date that there is any possibility of redrawing the HS boundaries as part of the process. The push for the middle school is a result of overcrowding at Westland and the need to ensure all 6th graders receive a comparable education (currently those at NCC and CCES are not able to access the full middle school curriculum, so those populations will be moved to the new middle school once it opens.)[/quote]
