At this age I think your discount might only be $2k. Not exceptional for a lot of pre purchase investigation. But if buying as an extra van/nanny car and you’ve got a great mechanic who will put it on the lift to see what else was damaged besides body work…

Another thing to consider is that while it might be looking OK now - was the body work shoddy? Did they use Honda OEM airbags in the rebuild. Do they have rebuild photos so you can see the extent of the damage.

It does have insurance already. The “rebuilt title insurance” is why it is that way.[/quote]
