I think women’s soccer has changed and the US is just stuck in the old ways that worked. I think the ‘23 World Cup team would have won in ‘15 and ‘19 pretty easily. The ‘23 team is more athletic, physically and skilled vs those teams but the competition has changed. The ‘15 and ‘19 teams would have lost in ‘23. Just go back and watch those games.
