My sophmore rocked an ID camp, the coaches noticed and talked to her...the other 4 ID camps at other schools we attended she got no communication of substance from the ID/Coaching staff....its not rocket science...if they like you they will talk to your kid.

Have fun, try all types of ID camps, D1, D2, D3....find out where you DD grabs the coach's attention! I had my DD go to (1) D3 ID camp, (3) different D1 camps (diff size schools), and went to (1) D1 ID call back...this is the one that made her an offer

If you have the ability to honestly evaluate (as a parent) you daughter as a player and where (with your coaches feedback) she can possibly play then camps might be worth it.  For the most part these are money grabs for college coaches and 90percent of the girls can't play at the schools they are attending these camps.  I've seen some local girls post from over 15 different camps with the obligatory picture with the head coach.  Not one school was NOT a power 5 conference.  With the camp fee and travel that is a lot of money for most people.  These camps are well attended...so either there is a massive disconnect from reality or people just love the experience.  To each his/her own.[/quote]
