Hello all, YES it was the tone!!

Crazy flippant laugh paired with a "Who knows/Who cares" type of response.

Sorry I just had a moment where I wanted to knock her out.   I wouldn't of course but it just was so disrespectful.

To contrast a " I'm not sure maybe ask Billy" or " I don't know" in a regular tone without a crazy flippant laugh casting every to the side beside her.

So, you're taking time out of your day to complain about this one person, who had a strange response to a question? Do you also post for road rage incidents, and every time the cashier or wait staff is less than perfect? I mean, things happen. I don't think it was this woman's intention to convey she didn't care about a child. I'm sure you've come off as weird or rude when you didn't intend to.
