IPhone. I resisted for a long time and then when I got it I could not believe I had been resisting and I don't even have the 4S. It is completely worth it. Check out the others but be sure to check out the IPhone too. It is just so intuitive to use.
+1 I was definitely one of those iPhone-owner-hates who thought people always jizzing over their iPhones were obnoxious. Then I had to go on a cross country flight with my 2 yo DD and it was right after the 4s came out, so the iPhone 4 was only $99. I bought one and can't see how I ever lived without it. It has games and flashcards for DD so if we wait for a table at a restaurant or the bill is taking awhile to come out, she's entertained. It's got the Weather app which is so useful when you're out and about. The Mapquest app is actually more accurate than my built in GPS in my car and I use it ALL the time. I can do mobile banking with my bank's app, edit pictures (and the iPhone camera is unbelievably good), post them to Instagram (my favorite app), post pictures directly to Facebook. The store will help you sync up your Gmail account and calendar so that when you open your calendar on your phone, you see exactly what's on your Gmail calendar and can get email right to your phone. I use the Kayak app to track my DH's flights and arrival times when he's traveling and it updates if a flight is delayed or anything. Really, it's a very useful phone and easy to use when you get it figured out. I HIGHLY recommend.
