You don't need a recruiting service. Highly recommend you start following Renee Lopez on FB and other channels. https://rlopezcoaching.com/recruiting-tips/misconceptions-about-the-college-athletic-recruiting-process/
Agreed. Our daughter is a '25 and Coach Renee's book, FB group, and advice have been invaluable. Our club uses Sports Recruits, which is very similar to the NCSA platform, but is included in the registration cost (definitely less costly than ncsa) - Determine if you player even wants to play on the next level. Does he/she have skill, soccer iq, etc. to play in college? Be realistic. - Create and upload highlight videos. never know when an injury may occur. - Contact a wide range (D1, D2, etc.) of schools before showcases, games, etc.; generally, the showcase provides a full list of schools attending. - Follow-up with those same schools (with video from showcase) after the games - Upload more video as the season progresses. - Reach out to interested coaches with video updates on a regular schedule. - Make sure your player's top schools are a great, even if soccer wasn't part of the equation.
