I went part-time at my job when I had kids because I wanted to spend more time with them. I was also making mid-200s and took a 30k paycut. The decision for my family was more clear-cut and not risky. My DH is a fed so his job is stable. If I lost my job (worst case scenario), we can live on one income. Our home and cars are paid off. We don’t spend much in general.[/quote]
