[/quote] If you know for sure you are going to buy them, pay attention to the sales. LL Bean doesn't do lots of sales like other stores do, but they do good Black Friday discounts -- maybe buy several pairs when that hits, and keep a couple on ice for when you need replacements. You can probably get them for close to the old price that way.[/quote]
