I am always hearing from certain friends to get baby stuff used but the idea makes me sorta nervous or uncomfortable for some things but I want a gut check. I would not buy stuff where safety is key used - i.e., car seat, bassinet, crib etc. Then I would not buy stuff that goes in my baby’s mouth used - bottles, certain toys. So I guess what - clothing? Certain books / toys? What else? And where have you gotten good stuff in the DC area? Thank you!
There’s no safety issue with reusing a crib- (unless you’re talking about some kind of ancient/recalled model) even if it’s understandable to want to get a new one. Strollers are a great option to buy used also: swings, baby monitors, walkers/bouncers/play stations, baby carriers, and definitely clothes
