Yes I do! There is no need to buy new and create more landfill waste.

I didn’t buy anything new. It was all handmedowns. Cribs, car seats, clothes, breast pump. I guess we bought a few bottles as we needed them. If I needed good mittens or boots I bought those new.
Looking back I am so glad I didn’t waste my money on baby and toddler stuff that’s used for a blink of an eye.

There is no reason you can “ absolutely not buy a used car seat “
I wouldn’t buy one from a stranger. But if you know someone who’s selling one or giving one away and it’s still good, no accidents etc there’s nothing wrong with it.
We bought a brand new bucket seat and my kid was only in it for 5 mos and we switched to a convertible. I sold it for less than half what I paid; it was like new still.

Bottles are totally fine, just replace the nipples.

Everything can be used. I do agree with you on stuff that goes in the mouth though.
If you happen to have a friend/neighbor that’s done with a car seat and you know it’s never been in an accident you can use that too. That’s a personal preference.
Anything big I would get used, swing, bouncy seat, baby bathtub, stroller etc….. our crib was used as was our pack n play.

There’s no safety issue with reusing a crib- (unless you’re talking about some kind of ancient/recalled model) even if it’s understandable to want to get a new one.
Strollers are a great option to buy used also: swings, baby monitors, walkers/bouncers/play stations, baby carriers, and definitely clothes

Everything you can! There is so, so much used baby stuff out there, and it’s by nature not heavily used (in general) because babyhood is so short! (Sadly.) for our most recent baby we got a pack n play and a high chair from family - I think we are the third family to use them but it’s fine by me!

What? Of course you can get a bassinet and crib used. That’s ridiculous to think you can’t. That’s all I used for my two kids.
You should absolutely get used strollers. And a pack & play. A baby bath tub for the sink. And a high chair (which you won’t need for several months).
You can get a used glider.
