Too many various things - we climbed a mountain in the Bay Area, we ate really juicy plums over a kitchen sink in Miami and couldn't stop laughing, we went ice skating and discovered we could both skate, we made out in the Seattle Great Wheel, we ran around Paris looking at real estate, we sat in the furniture section in Macy's and talked for hours only to get kicked out and move to Crate & Barrel and talk even longer, we waited in a three hour line to pet baby goats, went up in a hot air balloon in Napa, danced in the kitchen while the sun set, etc. Fun things just happen organically. You can plan to do something romantic and it might fizzle. You can plan a boring night in of frozen ravioli and a leftover bottle of wine and wind up having an electric night.
This sounds so cute and i am envious that you seem like a person who can let go mentally of all the things required of adults on a regular basis and just enjoy the moment! How old are you guys?
Different poster. We do fun stuff all the time and we have a profoundly disabled child. The reality is that money helps. We keep seven day a week care for our kid. We are very social so we do stuff just the two of us and with friends. We love to travel. But we also have a ton of fun just going to the movies.
